Winter Spot the Difference

Winter spot the difference with snowflakes, mittens and hot cocoa — one of them isn't quite right.

Puzzle 1/3 · 4×4YOU 0 – 0 AI20.0s

Find the one picture that is different before the AI does.

Start the round, then tap the odd one out.

A cozy winter set

Eight winter sprites: a snowflake, a mitten, a mug of hot cocoa, a knit hat, an ice skate, a sled, a penguin and a polar bear. Each round fills a 4×4, 5×5 or 6×6 grid with copies of one sprite, and exactly one copy has two pixels changed. Spot it and tap it before Luna AI — the simulated opponent — finds it first.

Look for a snowflake missing one arm, a mitten with a cuff in the wrong color or a mug with one less marshmallow. Pale sprites hide changes well against a light board, so check the edges first.

New Year spot the difference

Ring in the new year with a quick race: play three rounds before midnight and see who wins more, you or the AI. The puzzles use the same winter set, so you can keep playing well into January.

Valentine's Day spot the difference

A short, sweet puzzle break for February. Pass the phone to a friend or your valentine and see who finds the odd picture faster — loser picks the next movie.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. It runs in your browser with no download or signup.

Can I race the AI on winter spot the difference?

Yes. The winter set races Luna AI on winter sprites – snowflakes, mittens, penguins and polar bears – with the same rules as every other puzzle here. It starts slow on the first levels, gets faster as the grids grow, and from level 15 it gets brutal. Beat it by being quicker, or by catching the levels it gets wrong.

Is there a winter spot the difference printable?

Yes. The printable page has a winter sheet with an answer key — print it or save it as a PDF.

Is this different from the Christmas page?

Yes. The Christmas page has trees, gifts and snowmen. This winter set skips the Christmas pictures, so it works all season, from December through February.

Can I play after winter?

Yes, this page stays up all year.
